Maldives SUP Surf Coaching Boat Tour

SUP surfing in the MaldivesJoin Australian SUP champion and expert paddle trainer Beau Nixon for a fully guided SUP coaching experience aboard the Maldives’ newest luxury charter boat, Sea Pleasure. This coaching experience is ideal for intermediate to advanced SUP surfers looking to improve their SUP surfing ability in paradise. The Maldives is the perfect place to improve as the waves slowly break over deep coral reefs and allow surfers to practice their technique over and over again in mechanical type waves.

OluKai Lowcountry Boil Paddle Battle

Lowcountry Boiling Paddle BattleThis race will take place on Skull Creek, which separates Hilton Head Island from Pinckney Island (a National Wildlife Refuge) and the mainland. Proceeds from the Lowcountry Boil Paddle Race will benefit The Outside Foundation. The Outside Foundation’s mission is to get every kid in Beaufort County out in a kayak during their middle school years. The Outside Foundation is also involved in regular litter cleanup efforts and a unique oyster recycling program.

Portsmouth Paddle Battle

Portsmouth Paddle BattleJoin us on September 10, 2022 for the 2nd Annual Portsmouth Paddling Battle on the Elizabeth River. Participants will compete in SUP and Kayak categories depending on their age/experience level. If the feedback from 2021 riders and spectators is any guide, this year’s Portsmouth Paddle Battle will be a terrific day out on water and on land. Enjoy live music and great food and drink. And prices! We will also have special events for children. In short, there will be something for everyone. Proceeds will help Friends support the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Museum and the Lightship Portsmouth Museum.

APP Tour London SUP Open

APP London SUP OpenThe London SUP Open kicks off on Wednesday September 14 with the Nautical Mile, which will see corporate teams compete in a relay race for a chance to win the Nautical Mile Cup. The professional races will start on Saturday 17 afternoon. There will also be open races and team races if visitors want to compete. On Sunday, the pros will take part in the iconic journey down the Thames in a 15km race. Then all paddle enthusiasts are invited to get in the water for the Paddle for the Oceans challenge, with 50% of the proceeds going to ocean-related charities.

Supetar Grand Slam SUP Race

Supetar SUP RaceThis month, Supetar will host an international SUP EUROTOUR race for the first time. The best paddlers in Europe will compete in Supetar, Croatia for a cash prize. The SUP race will take place on September 17 on the beach in Acapulco and the whole weekend will be dedicated to promoting water sports.

Busan SUP Open

APP BusanWelcome to our inaugural K-APP race, held at beautiful Gwangalli Beach in Busan, Korea. Gwangalli Beach provides the perfect backdrop and arena not only for the APP World Tour competition, but also a safe and controlled environment for mass participation at all levels in our Busan City Paddle Festival. The Busan SUP Open will be rooted in our World Championship competition, which will see our professional athletes compete in sprint and distance races at Gwangalli Beach Bay, which will also include amateur and youth sprints for all age groups and all abilities.

Red River Paddling Challenge

Red River ChallengeThe Red River Paddle Challenge is a 44 kilometer (~27 mile) long distance paddling race on the Red River beginning in Winnipeg, Manitoba and ending downstream in Lockport, Manitoba. We accommodate all types of paddle craft including kayaks, canoes, surf skis, canoes, stand up paddle boards, voyageur canoes or other watercraft.

SUP Finger Lakes 5K

Finger Lakes 5KThe race begins and ends at Finger Lakes State Park Beach. It is a course in calm water with a few buoys. The top male and female winners in the inflatable and rigid board division will receive a $300 gift certificate to a local adventure supply store. Details to come soon!

Paddle Sport FairThe Paddle Sports Show in Lyon, France attracts buyers from specialist shops, buying centres, rental stations and outfitters across Europe and around the world. The show features over 150 apparel, boat, board and accessory stalls and a full range of special events including conferences and summits, paddle sports product of the year awards, film festivals, races and demonstrations on the water. Expected buyer and exhibitor attendance exceeds 2,500 attendees including retailers, exhibitors and media per show. Paddle Sports Show is a COMMERCIAL EVENT ONLY and is not open to the public.
