House to show Deni’s jewel

Scott Bradley returned home to start Deniliquin Canoe Hire.

After 30 years of working in all different parts of Australia, Scott Bradley returned home to Deniliquin.

Coming home allows him to semi-retire, but still eager to do something with his time, he has since started a new business.

Deniliquin Canoe Hire allows him to help others discover Deni the best way he knows how – on the River Edward.

“The Edward River is Deni’s gem,” said Bradley.

“And this is the one that has just been discovered by more than our regular visitors. “

Mr. Bradley remembers many great summers spent on the river with his friends and family, and hopes he can give others the same with his new venture.

“It’s an ideal small business. There is no better way to experience Deni than on the river, and it is becoming more and more popular. ”

The new attraction will offer guests an all-inclusive self-guided tour of the River Edward.

There are two types of canoes: a two-person “Canadian” canoe and a smaller one-person option.

Departing from downtown Deniliquin, you will be driven to the Four Post Camp where your canoe adventure begins.

You will be fitted with a life jacket and a full river map, which includes information on the various viewpoints along the route.

Finally, you drop from the sloping banks of the Edward and float with the current.

Take in the natural sights as you make your way to Willoughby’s Beach, not far from the Deniliquin CBD, where you’ll be picked up and returned to your pickup point.

“There is no hassle or rush, just enjoy it your way,” Mr Bradley said.

The trip will take around four hours, with departure times at 8:30 am and 1:30 pm. Tours are ideal for adventurers of all ages.
